Program Specifics

This certificate is a partnership between the Modern Languages Department, The Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Department and the Labor Studies Department. It offers a comprehensive training to better function in Spanish for Legal Advocates, Mediators, and Dispute Resolution Practitioners.

This certificate program consists of a mix of courses in SPA, NCR and LBR. Participants receive hands-on mediation and conflict resolution training that is actively reinforced with Spanish instruction with the idea of being able to function in both English and Spanish at this setting.
